These terms and conditions govern your use of our website at bp-tables.com and any purchase you make from Blackdown Precision Tables, a trading name of BP Tables Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16938838, with our registered office in Taunton, Somerset.

By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

01 Definitions

"We", "us", "our" refers to BP Tables Ltd. "You", "your" refers to the customer placing an order. "Products" refers to the welding tables, accessories, and any other goods listed on our website. "Website" refers to bp-tables.com and bp-tables.myshopify.com.

02 Sales & Orders

2.1 Placing an Order

All orders placed through our website constitute an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. An order is only confirmed once you receive a written order confirmation from us by email.

2.2 Pricing

All prices shown on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (ยฃ) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. BP Tables Ltd is not currently VAT registered. Prices are subject to change without notice, but any change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed.

2.3 Payment

Full payment is required at the time of placing your order. We accept payment via the methods listed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely. We do not store your payment card details.

2.4 Custom & Configured Orders

Products configured to your specification (including custom table heights, plate thicknesses, or bespoke dimensions) are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun, except in the case of a manufacturing defect.

2.5 Cancellations

You may cancel a standard order within 24 hours of placing it by contacting us directly. After this window, cancellations may not be possible if production has already commenced. Custom or configured orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

03 Delivery & Shipping

3.1 Delivery Area

We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. For international enquiries, please contact us directly before placing an order.

3.2 Delivery Timescales

All products are made to order and despatched via pallet delivery. Estimated lead times are displayed on each product page. Standard lead time is 5โ€“10 working days from order confirmation, subject to production schedule. These are estimates only and not guaranteed dates.

3.3 Delivery Method

Products are delivered flat-packed on a pallet via a third-party pallet network. Deliveries are kerbside only unless otherwise agreed in writing. You are responsible for ensuring suitable access and assistance for unloading.

3.4 Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Any delivery charges shown are inclusive of all standard handling fees.

3.5 Damaged in Transit

You must inspect your delivery upon receipt. Any damage must be noted on the delivery documentation at the time of signing and reported to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Failure to do so may affect your ability to make a claim.

3.6 Failed Deliveries

If a delivery fails due to incorrect address information provided by you, or because access was not available, any re-delivery charges will be payable by you.

04 Returns & Refunds

4.1 Your Right to Return

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a standard (non-custom) order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. You must notify us in writing within this period.

4.2 Condition of Returned Goods

Returned goods must be unused, unassembled, and in their original packaging. Products that have been welded to, drilled into, surface treated, or modified in any way cannot be returned.

4.3 Return Shipping

You are responsible for the cost of returning goods to us. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured pallet courier. We are not liable for goods lost or damaged in return transit.

4.4 Refunds

Once we have received and inspected the returned goods, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.

4.5 Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty: custom or configured products, items that have been used or assembled, and consumables.

4.6 Faulty Goods

If your goods arrive faulty or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund at our discretion. This does not affect your statutory rights.

05 Warranty

5.1 Coverage

All Blackdown Precision Tables products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

5.2 What Is Covered

The warranty covers defects arising from the manufacturing process, including structural failures, dimensional inaccuracies beyond stated tolerances (ยฑ0.2mm), and defective welds or laser-cut components.

5.3 What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover: normal wear and tear, surface rust arising from failure to maintain the raw oiled finish, damage caused by misuse, overloading beyond rated capacity, modifications made by the user, or damage caused during transit that was not reported within 48 hours of delivery.

5.4 Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, contact us at the email address below with your order number, a description of the defect, and supporting photographs. We will assess the claim and respond within 5 working days.

5.5 Remedy

At our discretion, we will repair, replace, or refund the affected product or component. Where only a specific component is defective, we are not obliged to replace the entire product.

06 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BP Tables Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the price paid for the product giving rise to that claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

07 Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including drawings, CAD models, product designs, photography, text, and branding, is the intellectual property of BP Tables Ltd and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without our prior written consent.

08 Privacy & Data

We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you consent to us processing your data for the purposes of fulfilling that order and communicating with you about it. We do not sell your data to third parties.

09 Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
